Discover The Franklin Bookstore

The Franklin Bookstore began in 1996 when Robert and Ruth Lynn opened their shop in Humboldt, Tennessee. After retiring from the Navy and a business career, and driven by a lifelong love of history, they dedicated themselves to the world of rare books, magazines, and newspapers—many sourced from dealers across the country. Today, the bookstore continues through their family, honoring the high ethical standards Dad established. We’re proud to be part of the living history of the printed word—beautiful and fascinating artifacts of our cultural past. Every item we offer is guaranteed to be genuine and exactly as described, with a significant portion of our inventory consisting of periodicals dating from the Revolutionary War through World War II and into the 21st century.

The Franklin Bookstore proudly features over 3,000 vintage and antiquarian periodicals, newspapers, and books available for purchase on eBay and Biblio. Additionally, we have an extensive collection of more than 200,000 items that have yet to be listed, showcasing the depth and richness of our inventory.
